His specialties are First Responce, B.L.S. (Basic Life Support), First Aid, and CPR/AED (all levels). Terry has been involved in Health & Safety for the past 16 years and has vast experience in many different facets of the field. Terry is involved in the local community as a hockey coach and trainer as well as an official with the Ontario Hockey Association, Ontario Minor Hockey, and Ontario Woman's Hockey Association.
His passion to teach started about 18 years ago when he became a Canadian Ski Patroller and then became an instructor within the program. He then joined the Quinte West Fire Department as a volunteer, where he served 3 years before moving to South Western Ontario. Continuing in the training field, he then became a certified WHMIS trainer and lift truck instructor. Since 2005, he has continued to add to his instructor resume by adding Confined Space, Aerial Work Platforms, Fall Arrest, and Joint Health & Safety Certification training, as well as many other training programs.
